PROBLEMS WITH SAY-ALL

Once again, I am having problems with using say-all to read a long document.
The first time it happened, I thought perhaps that there was something wrong
with the document.  Now it has happened again.  The document is fifty pages.
About three-quarters of the way through, it simply stopped reading.  It
would not move despite my efforts to attempt to make it keep going. What is
the problem? What is the solution?
