Did you want to open all the files you selected at once? I didn't think
that was possible. Your best bet might be to open them one at a time, as
in document windows.

: Hi,
: In the open dialogue box of Word 97 I tried to select more than one file
: from the "Look in" list box.
: I did this by moving to the first of my selections and then I held down
the
: control key and pressed the space bar.
: JFW (3.3.26) responded by saying "open" and nothing else.
: holding down the control key and using the down cursor key had no effect
: either.
: I was under the impression that you could use the control + space bar,
and
: control + cursor key to move and select non-contigous files.
: Is there a problem with:
: a) me!
: b) jfw in word 97?
: Cheers
