Unless they've changed things with 3.3, you can put the auth disk in before
actually running the installation and it will notice the key and run in it's
full version mode. However, it will not install a key onto the drive since
basically it sees it already installed, just on the A drive instead of the C
drive. I did this with v3.2 when I was doing job searching using a computer
at a company, and got sick of installing/uninstalling keys onto the hard
drive.
