Alexis,

Are you running the newest realease 3.31.35? If so, You must have disabled
the Virtual PC cursor. If so, if you use ctrl+ins+down arrow to read, the
Jaws cursor will read the message just like it used to in OE4 and IE4. Some
people are disabling this permanently through the configuration manager
(advanced settings). If you want to get ride of the Virtual (I can't
understand why but for very rare occasons) the wiser way, I believe, is
disabling it through Ins+Z which toggles it off and on. If you accidentally
toggled Virtual PC cursor off, then Ctrl+Ins+down arrow will behave as you
describe. With this new release, you can use the standard SayAll function,
Ins+DownArrow and the message will be read with the Virtual PC Cursor. If
you don't know what cursor is active, hit Alt+Delete and JFW will tell you.

It's pretty cool but takes some getting used to. I'm having fun with it,
playing and learning.

Good luck,
Aggie

When I read e-mails in OE5, JAWS reads the message with the JAWS cursor

voice, and then switches back to the PC Cursor. I don't know if this is a

bug or some glitch in general. It happens about every day. I don't even

activate the JAWS cursor. It just happens! Should I report this to HJ?

Thanks,
