What is this Windows Update you refer to?
When downloading, does the speech work if you use Sayall with insert+S?
What is the Windows Update for?

Thanks,

Hi Deedra

I also loose speech when downloading software from the windows update page,
but it doesn't happen until have started the download itself.

I haven't tried a live update of my norton anti-virus software i have in
system works yet to see if it will work or will loose speech as well with
it.

I have no trouble with ie5 itself.

If you hear of a solution that works to stop the loosing of speech then
please past it along to me and the rest of the group....
