Description: I recently discovered a fabulous program called
EndItAll. This program can
be used to end all of your running tasks quicly and easily, especially
tasks that don't show up on the task bar. It brings up a list of all of
your running tasks, and you can end them all with one button click. Also,
you can protect certain tasks from being terminated by protecting
them. You would want to do this, for example, for JFW and any software
speech you have running to prevent loss of speech. Furthermore, EndItAll
will remember your settings from session to session, so once you protect
certain programs, they stay protected until you change their status. The
program needed a little scripting and window reclassing for best speech,
but I've done that already. I'm sending the program and scripts to Nick in
the hope that he'll post them. I've not written any readme file for the
scripts since the program is so simple and easy to use. I think many of
you will find it very useful. I routinely use it to stop all running tasks
before doing any new software installations. I hope others find it as
useful as I have.
