Jeff, here is a couple of answers. Press insert+j for jaws, then alt+v for
voices, then arrow down to keyboard, press enter, tab to rate, then reset
he rate to a higher number, tab to interrupt, make sure that is checked.
That should help the keyboard typing echo speed.
Now, as far as the speech on your desktop, press insert+ number row 6 for
configuration, press control+shift+d for delete, then press alt+s for
settings, press enter on user options, tab to verbosity, arrow down to
three which is the lowest of the verbosity settings, then tab to ok, press
enter, then alt+f4, it will ask you if you want to keep the changes, press
enter on yes, and that should take care of that. I can't anser the rest,
since I don't use telix.
