Well I have just received my first 30 issues of the digest so I will try to cover everything in this thread. With jfw 3.2 I can add keys but if I try to remove them in dos I get a string of errors, in windows I get an error that my working copy of JFW is now not authorized and a key disappears. I have a green disk should I have a black one? Does that fix the problem, or is their a fix? I have contacted HJ but I just got another reset key, I hope this problem is fixed since with the release of windows 2000 will give the folks at H.J. a run for their money. I have used windows 2000; the speech program works great though the sound card. If H.J. goes under maybe they will give us a code to remove the EV system or are we going to have to see Mr. Henter personally? Lastly, locks and keys are for honest people. HJ should use a registration program that logs your phone number at H.J. when you install it and upgrade it. You know like the folks do at VISA when you get a credit card? When you get a card you call a number, that way in the future they can trace you and send out a card reminding you it is a crime to pirate software, blah, blah, blah. Lastly, the key should only be for the demo, like with the academic edition of AutoCAD. When you buy the full version the copy protection dangle is removed.
