Follow-up Comment #1:
I tested both the commends with every supported geometry type and taking
fileds both from constant values and from raster categories. Also vice versa
from cat to populate the shp attributes.
I didn't get a single error and all the maps were properly produced.
If anyone has problems, please reopen this bug.
