It is a binding on the part of the Naxalites to save those people who are funding them. I know the Naxalites damaged a very old Ganesha temple in Bastar but none of the churches were ever attacked by the Maoists. It makes people believe that the Maoists are helping Christianity spread in tribal areas. Their supporter Human Rights organisations though speak about Secularism, the brute Naxalites are not secular as such in their behaviour.
