Yes, I think this has great potential. Korsuke (the author of the MSV code that does the validation) mentioned this last week at a JAXB meeting. I've since downloaded the actual MSV code (https://msv.dev.java.net/) and taken a look, and want to try using it for doing schema comparisons in the future. Korsuke has clarified that it's all either Apache or BSD licensed, so I see the licensing as compatible with JiBX.

It'd be nice if it had an XML Schema writer, but as it is only supports RELAX NG output. If it had direct Schema output I could use it for generating Schemas from code+binding.
