Yes, this needs to have a cast added to the code. I don't have time right now
to point you in the right direction, but the same sort of thing goes on for
regular structures in the ComponentObject code generation.
I was planning to take care of this for the new release. It's messy because of
the ugly BindingBuilder code, but not too bad otherwise from what I remember.

Description:
The current implementation only allows java.lang.Object as the parameter type
for the method specified in the attribute add-method of the element collection.
Instead, it should use the class specified in the attribute item-type (if this
attribute is not specified it should use java.lang.Object).
