You're welcome to take Xsd2Jibx in whatever direction you'd like,
providing you're willing to take responsibility for maintaining it. I'm
probably going to take a look at writing a replacement for the current
implementation myself, with my own version of source code generation and
a lightweight schema model. Part of the reason for this is that I need
to do code generation from schemas embedded in WSDL for JibxSoap
clients, and I'd like to have the JibxSoap-specific part combined with
the data model part. But with my usual backlog of things to be done I
don't know when I'll actually get started on this, and if you can come
up with a full-scale Xsd2Jibx in the meantime it'll be a strong
incentive for me not to mess with that part of things.

support earlier versions. I do not know yet if the JaxMe JS stuff
supports generics. Dennis will be glad to here that I've abandoned
Magic completely. I do however tend to use Maven a lot these days
rather than Ant. What I may use for this version is still up in the air.
I guess I'm looking for feedback. Dennis, am I allowed to make
significant changes to the xsd2jibx head branch when it comes time for
me to checkin stuff?

I don't understand the issue with JDK 1.5 and Eclipse, though I've
seen
references to this elsewhere as well. I switch freely between 1.4 and
1.5 for compiling and debugging programs in Eclipse and haven't
seen any
problems. Are you looking for 1.5-specific features in the IDE?
