Tried this with the current CVS code (essentially the 1.1.5 release version),
and the binding compiles:
Warning: Only concrete mappings should be 'leaf' mappings for extensions; you
should either remove 'extends' attribute or add concrete extension mappings for
this abstract mapping; on mapping element at (line 33, col 98, in
jibx_binding.xml)
