I think you could be right but can't vouch for it.
I tested a very trivial binding and compiled it without using either Ant/Maven and it worked.
Even in this binding file if i were to comment out all the lines with constant and replace them with field attributes it is working.
If there is anybody out there who can show me how to deal with this(assuming this is a jibx-maven problem)it would be great.
Jibx binding is but one step in my build and it being a huge system and build etc being managed by a build/operate team it is imperative that we provide them with an easy means of building(read maven)
I can, for the time being, generate the binding manually and continue to develop but when it reaches UAT /production (which is round the coner)I need to have this as a part of the maven build activity.
Request your help in this case.

Of course you could always use the Ant task from your maven build.
