I'll fix the bug that throws an exception in binding and make sure this
works properly with forwards="false". The deeper issue of forward
references to objects that are supposed to go into a collection is a
messy one that's going to have to wait for 2.0. If you really need to
work with this situation you can write a custom marshaller/unmarshaller
to handle the collection, or use a wrapper object that actually goes
into the collection.
