I think the problem is related to the way Collections work. JiBX will
attempt to place everything in a collection unless it is restricted
somehow to a particular type; this works great when what you want is
heterogeneous collections, but, in your case you only want to have
Tenders included, not the following value. So, when JiBX attempts to
place "reversalReason" into the collection, it can't find a specific
mapping for it that it requires (since there isn't one).
Try adding this:
item-type="co.za.easypay.billpayment.message.Tender"
to the <collection/> element to restrict it to items of this type.
Hopefully, this will allow "reversalReason" to be processed as you want,
outside of the collection, as a child property in the mapping of the
element "billPaymentAdviceRequest".
