Hi Dannis,
in one of the latest release of JiBX a check to make sure no mappings
have the same name was added. Unfortunately, we used it with the beta3
with success to unmarshal same tags but with a different syntaxes. I
believe it worked because of we used different classes to implement
the two mappings and in one case we reference the correct mapping by
class instead of by name. See the attached binding, elsement CTCap for
example.
Therefore the question is: do we really need unique names? If the
answer is "not really" then what about reverting such change? If the
answer is no, is there an alternative?
