Hello Dennis, have been trying to figure out the JIBX mapping tool and had written a small parser myself using SAX. I was wondering why is it not possible to have a mapping like.
<mapping xpath="/full/xpath/to/map/to" class="my.own.Class" field="field" /> or like <mapping xpath="/full/xpath/to/map/to" class="my.own.Class" field="innerClass.field" /> ==> so in Class will have a Field called innerClass which will have a Field like field" Currently the main issue I am facing is if I ONLY need some sub elements form the XML , then to achieve that I have to map the TOP Level Element of the document and always have everything FIELD in that mapped as well.
