Hi All, I've read a previous thread which states 'The most reasonable way to include binary data in XML documents is to use base64 encoding. JiBX does this for you by default if you have data that's of type byte[] ' However, I have found that, although the WSDL generated by jibx - using the jibx2wsdl tool - showed base64 the data returned in the SOAP message was shown as <byte></byte>. I'm using Axis2 1.3 as the Web Service engine. To get around the problem for now, I've taken out databinding. Hopefully, someone has had a similar problem and could resolve the matter.
