What is the timeline for releasing version 1.2? As a side note, when will the
maven plugin be 1.2 compatible?
The reason I ask is that, in order to continue using Jibx for XML binding on an
existing project, the include tag with the precompiled attribute is necessary
as well as being able to bind via Maven. The scope is as follows:
Project D has an XML output structure that is comprised of project A, B, and C.
There might also be a project E, which is comprised of project B and C
(reusing existing code, bindings, classes, etc.). The optimal build solution
for all projects is that A, B, and C are separate projects, and separate maven
artifacts that are retrieved by project D's pom (e.g.).
Using <include path="" precompiled="true"/> sounds like this will work in
principle, but without the ability to compile project D's bindings via the
Maven plugin (thus forcing to compile command line) it's a moot point as that
cuts Maven completely out of the picture.
Also, does the include tag have the ability to pull a binding file from a class
path?
