I'm afraid the current v1.2.4 artifacts on maven.org are broken.
I get warnings like this:

Browsing my local repository (~/.m2) I found html content in some .xml
files.
I added mvnrepository.com to my pom.xml and switched the jibx version to
1.2.3 and the problem has been solved. However, 1.2.3 is not on the maven
central.
