Could you clarify on JDK 8 a bit?

Using 1.2.6 + BCEL 6-SNAPSHOT, I was unable to run the binding tools. 
When I built with JDK 7 and ran with 8, I still got the "Expected stackmap 
frame at this location." error.

Is it expected to work this way?  Was there an additional hoop I should 
have lept through?
