Below is a review of JDK code. I did not spot any showstoppers. It's mostly
cleanup related with maybe one or two bugs.
Just another follow-up on this. I've created JDK-8066575, JDK-8066577
and JDK-8066580 to track this clean-up and make better use of the stream
API in this code. It would be nice to get this code clean as it evolves
going forward.
