Saw Alan's update for JDK-8078820. 8078820 is the right id for this, isn't it? :-) 8068938 was a different issue that Sundar has already resolved.

By the way, I just realized that the previous webrevs didn't include org.xml.sax.helpers.XMLReaderFactory. Would you want to add that too?
Frank out the issue number is one of the previous mails, no big deal.

Are you okay to work with him and figure out how to get these tests in jdk9/dev? Ideally all XML parsing tests would be in the same repo but that isn't something that we want to get tangled up in here. I think, as I've mentioned in this thread, is that we should get rid of the jaxp repo completely and just move the code and tests to the jdk repo. I don't thin this would be a huge effort.

As Peter mentioned in the other thread (8068938...), references to jaxp changes in JIRA would point to wrong links, that would be disruptive. Plus, we (people who have jaxp workplace configured using the JAXP standalone structure) would have to spend time re-configure yet again for another repo change/move. Given our busy schedule, it's just unnecessary, IMHO.

At issue is test consolidation, we already have all jaxp test in the jaxp repo. For this particular test, I don't mind if we have to put it in the jdk repo in some kind of "module" category. But if you'd like it in the jaxp repo, Frank might need to investigate whether he wants find an alternative to the test libs he used or whether it's feasible to make a copy to the jaxp repo.
