Antoine, the hand constructed tests look about right. I was thinking this
would be included in the initial implementation of the new logic, but if you
want to take on that would be great. I think the path_internal tests provide a
pretty good set of test cases.
I created this Jira because I have the same concerns about not catching
everything with predetermined tests.
