By "deb packages" I mean I had run the commands in this
[link|https://arrow.apache.org/install/] to intall Debian packages that are
needed by arrow (that can be used, as far as I understand, instead of compiling
them from sources).
I'll try to see if I can reproduce a successful installation and if I can
enable parquet capabilities. I also think this is some kind of mix up, I'll see
if I can understand that. Thank you very much for you time.
