Can't entirely remember, but I think that from the R point-of-view I might have
been thinking of something to do with the differences in data types between R
and C++ and casting from one to another. It might be covered by the schemas
recipes though. Feel free to drop it if there aren't any obvious useful
recipes that come to mind here that aren't covered elsewhere though!
