I have not tried that yet but will do so in a bit.
As said reading a non-compressed version seems to have worked - obviously
that's not a solution.
Unfortunately I can't share the data set but given that I was able to reproduce
it with 2 different data sets I don't think it has something to do with the
data itself. If you have a reference arrow file you want me to download and
that we both can test I'm very happy to do so.
