Ah, yes, that's also a good option (and that's fine for the python bindings, 
FieldRef is exposed in python)
But that would still be a separate option to avoid a breaking change in C++? Or 
can we have a constructor of the options class that translates a vector of 
indices into a FieldRef? (I don't know if the StructFieldOptions class fields 
are considered public? probably yes?)
