Yammer Metrics was EOL'd in 2012. Would be really great to emit metrics from
Kafka using a modern version of the Metrics library. There are an awful lot of
Reporters nowadays
([http://metrics.dropwizard.io/4.0.0/manual/third-party.html]) that provide a
lot more functionality than just whatever you can make work with Jolokia or
some other hack on obsolete software.
