@cmccabe @jonmcewen I see previous two PRs (https://github.com/apache/kafka/pull/11326 and https://github.com/apache/kafka/pull/8690) that fixes the RoundRobinPartitioner. I think making the change in RecordAccumulator will naturally solve the issue (for all such affected Partitioners). wdyt ?
