A couple of things to consider: 1. If we upgrade the zk server to 3.8.1, what is the impact on the zk clients. That is, what's the earliest zk client version that is supported by the 3.8.x server? 2. We need to ensure there are no regressions (particularly on the stability front) when it comes to this upgrade.
