Hmmm... we make an effort to periodically invoke `SourceTask::commit` in non-EOS mode, even if there have been no new records written and there are no offsets to commit. I think we should do the same in EOS mode, instead of adjusting MM2 to accommodate this unexpected change in behavior. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
