CopyOnWrite is quite inefficient compared to persistent collections since it requires copying the whole collections for each update. I have given an example in the description which explains why persistent collections are efficient. > It would be nice if you could mention why the trade-off with immutable data structures is worth it in the case of AclAuthorizer.
