Description: Enable & validate integration tests defined in
`PlaintextConsumerTest` that relate to the consumer group functionality work
with the new consumer group protocol. The majority of these tests should work
with both consumer group protocols, so parameterization of the tests seems like
the most appropriate way forward. (was: Enable & validate integration tests
defined in `PlaintextAsyncConsumerTest` that relate to the consumer group
functionality. Those are currently disabled, waiting for the client to fully
support the new consumer group protocol.)
