[~Phoenix_Dad] I have tried to replicate this issue as per the mentioned
description. However, it works fine, and the mentioned configurations are
initialized correctly. The ticket was created in 2017 so they might have
already fixed this.
I think this ticket and associated PR
([#4050|https://github.com/apache/kafka/pull/4050]) can be marked as closed.
