Hey -- not sure if there is something up with my setup, but after this PR, I see many tests failing due to kafka server not starting up (in the logs I see ` Port already in use: 9192; nested exception is: java.net.BindException: Address already in use`or because there are no process IDs (See https://github.com/apache/kafka/blob/e099fce567094b1143ded8516ffd748b5425667f/tests/kafkatest/services/kafka/kafka.py#L920) In both cases, it seems like something changed in startup -- perhaps some change in kafka.py here triggered the issue. Did we run system tests after this change? I see some tests mentioned in KAFKA-18161, but not all.
