Kevin Wu commented on KAFKA-18956: ---------------------------------- [~chia7712] I did not have any specific tests in mind. I thought it would be nice for the test infrastructure to be capable of KRaft controller failover and cluster partitioning so that test writers could test behavior under those scenarios. I see controller failover is possible from `KRaftClusterTest`, but I don't see any partitioning capabilities. > Enable junit tests to optionally use more than one KRaft controller > ------------------------------------------------------------------- > > Key: KAFKA-18956 > URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/KAFKA-18956 > Project: Kafka > Issue Type: Task > Reporter: Kevin Wu > Assignee: TengYao Chi > Priority: Major > > Currently, the junit tests create just one `controllerServer`. Enabling the > test framework to support multiple `controllerServers` would allow for junit > tests to test behavior during KRaft leadership changes. -- This message was sent by Atlassian Jira (v8.20.10#820010)
