On this page http://kafka.apache.org/documentation/#log the picture
http://kafka.apache.org/21/images/kafka_log.png is wrong in my understanding.
The lower segment file the message ids/offsets are just copied from the one on
top.
They should start with 82....
Unfortunately I couldn't find the sources for the graphics. Only the final PNG.
