It doesn't seem worth to try removing sessions preemptively, e.g. in ReplicationControlManager#processBrokerHeartbeat skipping broker session touch if `states.current().equals(CONTROLLED_SHUTDOWN) && states.next().equals(SHUTDOWN_NOW)` - imo this is overcomplicated and likely more susceptible to bugs -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
