Abhinav Dixit commented on KAFKA-19266:
---------------------------------------

The develocity link posted in description does not include the tag 'trunk'. I
think the test {{testAcquisitionLockTimeoutForBatchesPostStartOffsetMovement}}
got fixed when I had pushed the fix for
https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/KAFKA-19216 on 6th May. Now, I am
querying
[develocity|https://develocity.apache.org/scans/tests?search.rootProjectNames=kafka&search.startTimeMax=1748341429307&search.startTimeMin=1746556200000&search.tags=trunk&search.timeZoneId=Asia%2FCalcutta&tests.container=kafka.server.share.SharePartitionTest&tests.test=testAcquisitionLockTimeoutForBatchesPostStartOffsetMovement()]
 between May 7 - May 28 (after adding tag trunk), I see 0 failures for the test
{{testAcquisitionLockTimeoutForBatchesPostStartOffsetMovement()}} . Since I
didn't add {{trunk}} as a tag while querying develocity while creating the
ticket, it would have queried all the git branches and the failure could be
caused by people's own development.
Hence, I think we can close that JIRA with no work needed
