[~mjsax] that's a good idea; we are keen on being able to track missing
features such as Warmup Replicas (HAAssignor) and online migration.
We are excited to start soak testing the Streams Rebalance Protocol (and plan
to do so once 4.2.0 is out) but we cannot move to it in production until those
two features are available. We deploy a KS app per customer and have many
clusters live; we cannot have a maintenance window for an offline migration.
Additionally, when customers increase their workload we must scale out and our
users cannot tolerate downtime during that process.
Overall, we are very excited about this feature! Thank you and the whole team
for all of the hard work. This is a huge and exciting step.
