shouldn't we clear the flag `if (isZeroTimestamp)`?
I see the `shouldClearPartitionEndOffsets` is passed true only from
`currentLag`, but what about a call to
consumer.`endOffsets`/`beginningOffsets`/`offsetsForTimes` when called with
`Duration.ZERO`? how would the flag get cleared?
