Replace the remaining try/fail/catch blocks in the Connect tests with
assertThrows, as #23389 and #23636 did for the Streams tests. This covers
12 blocks in connect-api, connect-runtime and connect-transforms. The
expected exception types and the existing failure messages are kept, and
assertions on the caught exception now use the value returned by
assertThrows.
Two remaining fail() calls are left unchanged because they are not
try/fail/catch blocks expecting an exception:
- ConnectorClientPolicyIntegrationTest#assertPassCreateConnector fails
when an exception is thrown.
- ConnectHeadersTest#assertContainsHeader fails after the loop when no
matching header is found.
