Validation on Java 17: - Full `UnifiedLogTest`: 215 tests passed. - `:storage:checkstyleMain`, `:storage:checkstyleTest`, `:storage:spotlessCheck`, and `:storage:spotbugsMain` passed. - The seven initial regression cases fail against unmodified trunk and pass with this change.
