I checked this locally on JDK 17 at e47f6492a4: all 115 tests in the `streams.assignor` package pass, including the 55 in `StickyTaskAssignorTest`. With only the production change reverted, the new test is the only failure: task 1 goes to `process3` instead of `process2`. One non-blocking follow-up: the standby queue in `assignStandby` still compares only by load, without an explicit tie-break. The PR description scopes this change to remaining active tasks; would you prefer to add a process ID tie-break for standby placement here as well, or leave that for a separate follow-up? -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
