This also follows the precedent with the [CloseableOffsetStorageReader](https://github.com/apache/kafka/blob/0f68dc7a640b26a8edea154ea4ea2b6d93b5104b/connect/runtime/src/main/java/org/apache/kafka/connect/storage/CloseableOffsetStorageReader.java) class, which is also not `AutoCloseable`.
