LGTM. The new test works for me with : `./tests/docker/ducker-ak test tests/kafkatest/sanity_checks/test_bounce.py` I had to make a small fix to our Dockerfile due to python's usual version compatibility mess. PR here: https://github.com/apache/kafka/pull/10995/files Incidentally, even if you want to use the branch builder instead of Jenkins, you can just choose to run a single test through the web UI.
