That would be very interesting to have the details of your clear analyzis. By 
the way, i'm not sure what could be the goal of a memory dump for a performance 
issue. With a simple yourkit cpu snapshot, we can see that the problem is 
related to jsp compilation , and after looking more deeply, that it's coming 
from the taglib packaging in a separate jar and a bug in tomcat.
Includes of tagf files into tag file are not well supported by tomcat, when the 
tags are inside a jar.
